Essential Care Guide: How to Preserve Your Handcrafted Clay Pieces

Because terracotta is natural baked clay, caring for it is simple yet essential to protect hand-painted varnish and dori cords.

1. Keep Away from Submersion: While our pieces are sealed with water-resistant varnish, avoid bathing, swimming, or spraying perfume directly onto clay jewellery.

2. Storing in Cotton Bags: Store each piece separately in the soft unbleached cotton pouch provided with your order to avoid scratching against metal jewellery.

3. Cleaning Surface Dust: Simply wipe with a clean, dry microfibre cloth or dry cotton swab. Never use harsh chemical jewelry cleaners or alcohol rubs.
