Sacred Symbols: The Mythology & Geometry Behind Temple Jhumkas

The jhumka is perhaps India's most iconic earring silhouette. Historically designed to mimic the sacred 'Kalasha' atop South Indian temple sanctums, the hanging bell represents harmony and divine abundance.
Our Temple Terracotta Jhumkas feature miniature lotus petals, peacock crowns, and tiered bell fringes carved entirely out of terracotta.
Because clay is lightweight compared to heavy brass or silver, larger 3-inch temple jhumkas can be worn comfortably all day without straining your earlobes.
